Building from source in Ubuntu aside from the usual also requires liballegro4.2-dev
and running requires liballegro4.2
and liballegro4.2-plugin-esd
. Running under Windows requires alleg42.dll
(included in the ZIP file) and the MS Visual C++ 2010 runtime, which can be downloaded from https://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=5555

I’m currently working on a game for a Software Programming assignment for university. It’s going to be a top-down monster survival shooter with classic sprites and 8-bit tunes! There’s still a lot to do, but take a look at the video to see how it’s progressing (sorry, no sound in this video)…
